*** CALLING ALL SAILORS!!! ***
Neuse River Regatta
It's currently raining with rain expected over the next few days with high humidity. BUT Mother Nature won't be on a rampage for much longer. By the end of the month we'll be drying out with good racing weather coming our way. The Neuse River Regatta is planned for October 1. It will be followed by a catered dinner at Blackbeard Clubhouse to honor a person who has been instrumental in the boating community on the Neuse and beyond. Come out to help us celebrate
You don't have to race to attend the catered dinner. You can purchase your dinners by completing the Neuse River Regatta Entry Form by providing your name, address cell number and email address and the number of dinners. Each dinner is $20
TO ENTER THE RACE OR ORDER YOUR DINNER (s) GO TO the Fairfield Harbour Yacht Club website at fhyc.us under the Racing header (section link above), blackbeardsailingclub.org or the Neuse Yacht Sailing Association website at nyra.org. So come out and join us for an exciting day on the river and lively stories at the end of the day WITH GREAT FOOD AND GOOD FRIENDS.
*** Our Club ***
Committed to promoting and encouraging safe boating, education, camaraderie, community engagement and fellowship for our members.
We facilitate water-related and community programs that are interactive, interesting, educational and informative for members and guests.
Our purpose is to encourage good, fair sportsmanship in competitive racing events and in all organized programs for club members and invited area boaters.
Club activities are planned to promote participation of both power and sail boaters alike.

We have shown our resilience and continued to take on more challenges for people less fortunate than ourselves. Yes, we have lost some members but we are also bringing in new members, giving the club a strength and vitality heading into the future. The leadership over this past year has been phenomenal. Past Commodore Adrian Vergot showed us to look beyond now. The Committee chairs…
FHYC Historical Highlights The Fairfield Harbour Yacht Club was formed to promote cruising and racing, the art and science of seamanship, safety afloat, and fellowship among its members. The Christmas Food Drive, led by Past Commodores, was initiated in 1992. The first Commodores’ Ball…
